FUN DAY! (Blog 4)

All around town Kandie had heard about the carnival, but had never taken the time to actually go. Today was its last day in Wilshire so Kandie decided to stop by after her shift at Jorri Rae's. Kandie was hoping she would be able to get in for free, but wasn't really sure how. She decided to go around to the back side of the carnival and was able to slip under a fence next to the funnel cake booth. As much as she hated little kids and rides like these (other than the Ferris wheel), Kandie realized that she could branch out from her usual men and pick up a new one here for the night. After mingling with a the guy behind the ticket booth and the man handing out candied apples, she caught the eye of a tall, lanky man. He was about as tall as they get with a rough 5 o'clock shadow, jeans, and a ripped polo. She asked him to buy her a ticket for the Ferris wheel and off they went. While the two were at the very top of the Ferris wheel, a huge flash came across the sky and lit up the whole sky. Within an instant it began to rain. Everyone scurried away, except for Kandie and her new man. The once crowded carnival turned into a private, intimate place. The two opened the unlocked and abandoned ticket booth and went in together. After about an hour, the two came out and began to walk to the motel. Waddling across the street was a chicken, all alone. Kandie went over, picked up the chicken, and took it back to the motel.
